Where wildlife photography becomes a shared discipline
Since 2016, we have brought together photographers, naturalists, and curious observers for structured online seminars that go well beyond technique.
What actually happens in our seminars
Our seminars are structured around specific topics — animal behaviour, low-light shooting conditions, fieldcraft, and post-processing for natural scenes. Each session runs 90 minutes and includes a presentation phase, a guided discussion, and a peer review of submitted images. Participants receive written materials before each session so the live time stays focused on analysis and exchange.
The platform serves students across Alexandria and surrounding areas. Online delivery means no commute, no scheduling conflicts with fieldwork, and the ability to rewatch recorded sessions at your own pace. We keep group sizes small enough that everyone has a real chance to contribute.
Planning before the field
We cover scouting methods, seasonal timing, and equipment selection for specific environments — marshes, forests, open steppe.
Discussion over lecture
Instructors present a framework, then participants bring their own images and observations. The ratio is roughly 40% presentation, 60% structured dialogue.
Editing with intention
Post-processing sessions focus on tonal accuracy and preserving natural colour — not stylisation. We work with Lightroom and Capture One examples side by side.
